Parking Guidance System for Kornwestheim

The reconstruction of the new cultural center “Das K” on the grounds of the current one, the relocation of the “Ravensburger Games Land” into the current betting shop on Bahnhofstraße as well as the construction of new underground parking garages and the restructuring of the traffic situation in downtown Kornwestheim are enough to change the parking situation. Against this background, a city centric parking guidance system was developed and implemented.
This involved redefining the targets, re-designing the routes, and re-planning the positions of signposts. Existing directional signs that required new layouts were designed to account for changes in destinations and routes. Additional signs required for the new parking guidance system were also designed and prepared for printing.
